Dark Blue, Hand-Dyed Antique French Linen Pinafore Apron

I'm excited to bring you the first in our new range of pinafores in hand dyed antique French linen. This piece is a deep, dark blue. This apron is made from a country style antique French sheet that dates to around 1900. It is in excellent condition, of course, and we have used the traditional hand stitched centre seam down the mid line of the pinafore - history for all to see. If I could find antique linen as nice as this all the time I would be so happy, but sadly that's not so easy. We have just three pinafores made from this sheet. As always, this pinafore apron is finished at the back with two vintage buttons. If you would like an apron made in a colour to complement your kitchen please contact us to discuss a custom order.
